TRICER-BC Tripod 2.0
The NEW Tricer-BC is the pinnacle of backcountry glassing—where ultralight meets stability.
Re-engineered to pack smaller, this 26.8 oz tripod is 25% slimmer in diameter and 2 inches shorter when packed, making it easier than ever to carry deep into the backcountry.
At the core of the Tricer-BC is the new patent-pending Tri-Tek removable center column, built to work smarter and pack better. With the glove-friendly cam lock lever, you can quickly adjust height or remove the column altogether to swap between long and short configurations. Compact in design—smaller in diameter than a Nalgene bottle —the Tri-Tek column stows easily without taking up valuable space.
Paired with the BC’s revolutionary inverted leg design, this system delivers unmatched stability and adaptability in the backcountry. The stowable 3-section legs ensure a fast, secure setup in any terrain. With a short center column included, you can adapt to any position with confidence.

Expert Insights
We texted the guys at Tricer to compliment them on their new tripod design and in their response they said "it's perfect." Typically we can find an argument against "Perfect" but in this case we might just have to agree. The Tricer AD and BC have been top sellers for many years, but there have always been a few things that we wanted to see changed. With their new updates, they have adressed every single one of those points and more. It's a lightweight, stable, and incredibly well designed tripod. The center post cam lock holds tighter than any other tripod I've felt, the folded size wastes no space, and the included allen key is a truly useful addition. If this tripod is within your budget, it's a no brainer in our opinion.
